hi, you reached the website of some guy who is in deep love with skateboarding but pissed off by its industry.

an easy way to buy things. maybe too easy, but what’s the alternative?
i never found larry clark's movies authentic. but somehow i enjoyed his overexposed style with the flair of an outsider trying to understand what's going on.
wassup rockers is his new movie. as always it is focused on youth culture and again it plays with skin deep clichees. or may i say skin tight? because it shows skateboarders with the look of their dad in the 80's: tight pants, long hair and a moustache. very rebelious.
congratulation for a great zine, pete! voice of a generation is a hardcore fanzine to the bone. get one, and if you like it, donate!
“Thanks to corporations like Nike we can eat extreme pizza, drive Nissan's X-Terra suv, wear extreme deodorant, hire extreme consulting firms and invest in extreme equity funds. But if we are all extreme now, then where have the real rebels gone? Disappeared in a haze of Ritalin?”
This is an excellent article from adbuster featuring the consolidated dudes and even ocean howell. download the pdf here!
just stumbled across this old follow-up responding to this well known dwindle fact.
yeah, the summer is finally here and it’s time for billerbeck. (3-D view, quicktime needed)!
i had a good laugh while listening to this track called “inlineschweine” by sondaschule. two members are old skatebuddies i skated with in the late 80’s. never mess with mülheim styrum!
don’t get mislead by the first minutes of this movie. i saw earthlings does not try to shock but to document the relationship of humans and animals. and this is shocking. everyone can do something against this. every little step counts. at least try.
