[ Hold Your Ground. ]

awesome show killed by the mighty gorilla biscuits!
“Conformity, the easy way to be accepted. I’d rather be outcast any day
It’s hard to be yourself with all the pressures coming down,
It takes a strong fucking person to hold your ground.
Hold Your Ground!”

[ education. ]

nice done. i can't say it often enough: we all must watch out what we are buying. and regarding skateboarding: can an “alternative lifestyle” really be based on slavery?

[ tadao ando is your friend. ]

i always admired tadao ando. his simple, minimalistic approach combined with the strict use of concrete develops true icons of modernism.
so last weekend i took the chance to see alex katz in a building build by tadao ando. what a great combination!
but even greater, tadao ando made a sick skatespot for you!

[ Now N’ Later. ]

aaaahhh, memories… you remember this awesome part of brian lotti in planet earth‘s Now N’ Later? great lines, great soundtrack. this was 1991!
in contrast these one second cuts of todays skatevideos just suck. no flow, no enjoyment.

[ need money? ]

ok, sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll is an expensive lifestyle. especially, if you are a band with the last musical output dating back to the mid-eighties.
so what can be done for fresh cashflow? right! merchandise. and here we have it: the “the clash” shoe made by globe, yawn.
